Retail Identity – The Hunter
Designing for brands within the fashion industry is interesting in that your end-product needs to be cutting edge and modern yet also be classic and long-lasting. Not that any other logo doesn’t have the same complications, but within the fashion industry this requirement is hiked up a couple of notches.
The Hunter, a fashion boutique based in Berlin, has all of these qualities. This corporate identity, retail identity, is both fresh and within the moment, yet also classic and able to have a long lifespan. The colour scheme chosen for the brand is hip and happening, right here and now, yet will still be cool in a couple of years. The beauty of this retail identity is also that the colour scheme can easily be updated without drastically changing it.
All of the stationary is beautifully executed. The usage of a spot varnish on black for the business cards, folder and bags is classic, modern and highly polished.
